Tears of Healing

Tears are my prayers when I'm unable to speak
Lord You see my heart, You know that I am weak
Drop by drop they flow continually from my eyes
Like the rain that is falling from the sky
How loud O Lord is the sound of my cry
How long more O Lord will You continue to pass me by
Every ounce of hurt, with each tear I choose to let go
May Your healing touch through each one of them flow
Receive my tears as my worship and prayer unto Thee
Do not ignore my cries when I'm on my knees
I will continue to wait on You
Trusting Your grace to see me through
For my hope comes from You and You alone
My Abba Father, who sits on heaven's throne

Give me faith when my world is crashing

I have no where else to turn to

When darkness covers me
Open my eyes and help me see
You are all that I have
And You are all that I really need

Nothing else matters

Beyond the pain, my heart can bear
A yearning desire for one who will love and care
Beyond the fear, and doubt that lies within
I seek the One, whom my eyes have not seen

Though my eyes seen Him not,

In the midst of the darkness

Where I've lost my sight to see
Everything seems hopeless
There seems to be no way out for me
 
I cry out to You oh Lord
Have mercy on me
Calling out from the pit

Save me Lord, I plead, deliver me
For only You understand the circumstance I'm in

I'm troubled in my spirit

And broken in my heart
The pain is too much for me to bear
It's breaking me apart

Your mercy Lord I seek

Your healing Lord I need
Yet Your love gives me strength
Whenever I am weak

Though trouble befalls me

You oh Father have overcome the enemy
My life is in Your hands
Your mercy is upon me

Guilt and regrets I carry as I travel on my road
To whom shall I ask to remove my load
To Jesus I call, to Him that cares
Upon His shoulders, my burden He bears
Condemns and accuse me He will not
For it is mercy by His blood that I was bought
Redemption and forgiveness is what He gives
If only we believe, ask and we will receive
So Father God, if I have ever ran away
Forgive me I ask of You today
Hold me close forever by Your side
And never again allow me to walk away from Thy sight

The Funeral

This poem is a reflection of my granny's death (2 Sundays ago). I wrote this a few days later after her cremation service on 24 Sept..

I often wished it was merely a bad dream
But when I saw the body and her coffin, reality finally set in
I didn’t want to accept it, nor did I want to believe
For the fact that she has passed on, is too big a blow for me
My heart was wrenched, my eyes welled up, my mind was in a mess
Her body has suffered so much but now she can finally rest
Yet my biggest regret was I never got the chance or the courage to share Christ with her
But there’s no point in regretting, for now she is no longer here
I watch helplessly as I see her coffin go into the flaming fire
To her I said my final goodbye with reluctance and tears in my eyes
For although her body rests, her soul will never see paradise
One lesson I’ve finally learnt, as regrets fill this aching heart of mine
We never know when death will take our love ones away,
So Lord we ask for Your courage to help us share Christ with them today

How foolish am I to be tricked

And the sight of who I am
Until His light shone through

Peace for my soul

My restless soul, wrestled with yet another sleepless night
As I stayed up in bed, heaving a heavy sigh
I stared into the heavens, struggling to say a prayer
Wondering to myself if anyone is really there

All night long, my one soul desire
Is to find the peace and rest I long
I searched in my heart
But could never figure out what's wrong

Then in the solitude and the quietness of the dark
A sudden whisper of a still small voice I hear
A gentle tug in my spirit begins to stir silencing every fear
There a glimmer of hope and than I knew someone hears

Be still, and quiet now my Child
And know that I'm the Lord Your God
Peace be with you as you know that I'm right here
My soul is now settled for that's all I need to hear

Opposition, my childhood friend
Rejection has held me by the hands
Through all the years growing up in pain
Suffering from sorrows and so much shame

Who would have thought that a person with a such a past

Is able to endure an environment that is so very harsh
I endured the physical and the emotional pain
Yet through it all, God's love and faithfulness remains

I was lost and alone, wondering if any one cared

Than God's love found me, than and there
Now I know who I am and I know who You are
You are my heavenly Father and I'm Your precious child

You mended and healed this broken soul

With Your love, You have made me whole
Out of darkness into Your glorious light
You called me now forever to Your side

Now with You, I'm forever secured

The past has no power over me any more
God's love has broken the chains that held me down
Now hope and joy is all I'm glad to know and have found

The past that has once entrapped me
God has hence set me free

Dead to sin and alive in Christ
Victory is on my side
The devil has been defeated
The flood gates of heaven is now opened wide

The promise of healing and blessings
Are all there for me to receive

So that I can enter into the blessings He has promised for eternity

Valentine's Day Poem

Someone special, someone dear
Someone beloved who is always near
Taking your hands and wiping your tears
Assuring you that there's nothing to fear

Chocolates and candies are not His style
Coz He has something to give that's more worthwhile
He give you love, He give you life
He gives you hope in Jesus Christ

Do not worry about being alone
Or no one speical to call your own
The love of God is more than enough
To satisfy your longing soul

When days seems hopeless and the nights seem long
The Lord Himeself is near you, His grace helps you to move on
His death on the cross demonstrates His ultimate love so divine
God opens His arms to invite you today; He calls you to be His valentine

He is saying to you right now, My child, I love you so much
That I'm willing to give My all to you
My love for you knows no reasons, limits or conditions
And My words and promises forever will stand true

All you have to do is to believe and receive
This gift of love that is readily available for you
I'm waiting for you to be my Valentine

Blessing in Disguise

It is a blessing in disguise
When I finally realise
And see that when things don't work out for me
It could sometimes be God protecting me against things in the future I can't see
God is sovereign, He knows us best
Nothing good will He withhold from us, so why should we settle for anything less
When God takes away some things, He might have better things in store
Though God closes one window, He will open another door
God has always our best interest in His heart
Though in tough times, we confess that trusting Him may be hard
But God always keeps His promise and He never lie
God's plan is perfect and His faithfulness cannot be denied
So in future, when things doesn't seem to go according to our plan
Know that our future and destiny is safe and secured in His mighty hands
And when we learn to understand these all,
We will give God the glory forever more
And we can say with confidence aloud that I have finally realised
That the pain we sometimes go through is surely a blessing in disguise

Tears in thy bottle

 

Put my tears in thy bottle, are they not all known to You
Oh sovereign Lord, my heart will rest in Your love and in Your truth
Every tear I cried, You have seen and heard, and I l know one day You'll wipe them dry
For the many pains I go through and often wondered why
Yet Your love is greater than my pains, though Your plans I cannot comprehend
I know my sufferings are only temporary, and will one day come to end
In suffering, we often see the reverse side of the tapestry
Seeing colours that don't seem to blend and patterns that don't make much sense
But at the end of life, we will finally realise and see God's ultimate purpose and plans
What is unclear to us now will  be revealed to us in the final days
We will declare God's sovereignty and thank Him for His goodness for always
For Thou has known and planned my days from the start of eternity
You have been faithful from the start and You will always be
Lord You know us best and Your love cannot fail
Therefore to You I surrender to Your will
For all my tears are known to You
My heart can rest in Your love and truth

A poem to the devil

I wish I hadn't been a fool to have listened to those lies
Yet I have fallen not just once but countless number of times
I wish you would shut up and back away from me
And stop tormenting my mind and cause me misery
I belong to God my Father, and in Him I shall firmly stand
You have no place in my life, and I will not fall for your evil plan
Your purpose is to steal, kill and destroy to take away my destiny
But my God is stronger and I shall have the final victory
In Him I have the power and authority to overcome your scheme
The blood of Jesus has broken the curse and paid the price for my sins
No longer do you have any power over me, for you are the defeated foe
I belong to Christ Jesus my Lord, yes I belong to Him and Him alone!

I stand speechless before Your throne

Look the clouds and the sky, what do you see

All creation declares its glory of Me
I know the numbers of hair you have and all the stars by name
Yesterday, today and forever I remain the same

I’m the Lord Almighty, faithful and patient am I
I am forever and I will never die
Have you read My word, to hear what I have to say
Every word I speak declares of My love for you today

Behold My scars on My feet and My hands

Behold the cross of Calvary where the curse of sin was brought to end
My blood was shed in order to set you free
 And at the mention of My name every demon has to flee
